Welcome to the download page. Here you will find freeware programs. Please tell me if a program is malware. Meaning that it's a bad program and does more harm than good (most likely spyware). I will try to test the programs before posting here, but it's not always possible since there are so many out there. So if anyone tries out a program and it's not what it's said to be, I will check it out. To be safe, you can download and run Adaware and if spyware is detected, please email me indicating the program in question. The programs will be sorted by categories. If you believe that a particular program belong in another category, email me and I will change it if I see that it fits. If you have any good programs to recommend, feel free to email them to me.

My Programs

HJT Canned Speeches Updated: 3/14/08 - This program contains the canned speeches for spyware infections. This program is created mainly to have all the canned speeches in one spot for HijackThis analysts/experts (or any spyware related analyst) to use. You should NOT use this program to help with your HijackThis log files, so don't download this program if that's what you intend to use it for. You might make it worse if you don't know what you are doing. You should ask someone to analyze the log for you. You can also post a HijackThis log at KRC Forum and someone will help you there.
Downloads:
New Install Updated whenver HJT_CS is updated - This is the full install file. ONLY download this version if this is your first time using it.
Program Update Updated: 3/14/08 - This will just have the HJT_CS.EXE file and nothing else. If nothing else is updated except the EXE file, you should download this only (smaller file). This is for those who currently have installed HJT_CS already. Otherwise, you need to get the New Install above. Just overwrite your old HJT_CS program with this one.
Analyzer Definition Updates Updated: 6/1/06 - This is an update file for Analyzer. It's not a requirement to get, but recommended since new entries will be added from time to time. Just overwrite the Data.mdb and Secured.mdw file with the ones provided in this update.

If you think you may have spyware installed and don't know how to remove it, go to KRC Forum and post a HijackThis log file in the HijackThis section.

Ad-aware - Remove spyware and other malicious programs from your PC.

Bazook Spyware Scanner - Scan for any adware or spyware on your computer.

CWShredder - Program to remove the CoolWebSearch Hijacker and it's variations.

HijackThis - Highly useful program for finding and removing computer hijacks. Not for beginners. Read Anti-Spyware Tutorial.

Spybot S&D - Search and Destroy spyware/adaware that might be on your hard drive.

SpywareBlaster - Install this program to prevent common spyware from being installed (does not remove them).

SpywareGuard - Protect your PC from browser hijacks. Provides Real-Time Protection from spyware and such.

StartDreck - Use this program to see a list of running processes, NT Services, and other system information.

StartPage Guard - Detect and prevent any unauthorized changes to your internet browsers Start and Search pages.

XCleaner - Spyware/Adware remover - also could delete files securely, edit registry, disable programs, etc.

Anti-virus and Firewall Applications

AVG Antivirus - Use this free virus prevention program to protect you PC.

Kerio Firewall - Free firewall for personal use.

Zone Alarm - Firewall to prevent hackers from accessing your PC files.

Audio Applications

Audacity - This is a free mp3/audio editor (recommended for minor tweakings).

AudioCrusher - AudioGrabber look-alike.

CDex - CD ripping program. Can convert to other formats and vice versa.

Exact Audio Copy - Make an exact copy of an audio CD.

MP3Cat - Database for handling mp3 files.

MP3Ext - Shows more info. about your mp3s. Let's you configure them also.

MusicMatch - Audio player and burner.

Pro Tools - Powerful audio editing program. Similar to Pro Tools LE, but it's the free version.

TagScanner - MP3 tag scan and renamer.

Winamp - You all should know what this is. It's a program to play music (MP3s).

Cleanup Applications

BeClean - Cleans registry, desktop, temp files, internet cache, etc.

Cache Decimator - Hide all windows, folders, etc. and delete all cookies, temporary internet files, history, run, etc.

Eraser - Securely delete files. With this program you can make sure that it can't be recovered.

HDCleaner - Searches and cleans your hard drive junk files. Also detects zero-byte files.

UltraWipe - Delete temp files, scandisk files, windows history, recycle bin, etc.

WebWasher - Surf the web your way. Filter anything you don't want to load on your browser (ads, images,etc.).

Image Applications

Galleroo - An easy web image gallery with a unique preview feature and support for movies and annotation.

Gimp - Free image editor from GNU. The interface needs some getting use to.

ImageForge - Image editor - powerful tools for painting and editing images, photos or other graphics.

PhotoPlus - Image editor. Image perfection for print, multimedia and Web pages.

PicSizer - Resize images in batches.

Picture-Shark - Put a watermark on your images to protect it from being copied.

VCW Vicmans Photo Editor - Powerful photo editor - compatible with more than 30 image formats.

Memory/RAM Applications

Fast Defrag - Free up RAM that are not available. Better system performance.

MemDefrag - Best Memory Manager yet. Cache is flushed and resources are mostly restored. Great when memory is running low.

Memtest - RAM Reliability Tester.

SimmTester - Use this program to test to see if you have bad RAM.

ScanDefrag - Maintenance program - Microsoft's Disk Cleanup, ScanDisk and Disk Defragmenter, and Norton's Disk Doctor and SpeedDisk.

Windows Diagnostic Tool - Use the Windows Memory Diagnostic to test the ram (physical memory).

AdultPDF - Converts TXT files to PDF files.

AVI2MPG - Convert your AVI files into MPG format.

ButtonMania - Create buttons for your website. Has some Windows and Mac-like buttons.

CDR Identifier - Identify a CDRs real manufacturer (don't always believe the labels), max. speed, type of dye, etc.

Excel Viewer - If you don't want to install MS Excel to view .xls files, you can just install this Excel Viewer.

PixelToolbox - Create your own icons. You can also create customized Windows icons.

Pixie - Find out the exact color of any image using this small and fantastic program.

Powerpoint Viewer -If you don't want to install MS Powerpoint to view .ppt files, you can just the viewer.

Word Viewer - If you don't want to install MS Word to view .doc files, you can just the viewer.

EditPad Lite - Free text editor.

JV16 - Registry cleaner; delete junk entries from your system registry.

MRU-Blaster - Scan and delete MRU lists in the registry.

RegDrop - Register and unregister components with ease.

RegscrubXP - Registry cleaner made especially for 2000 & XP.

Regseeker - One of the best registry cleaners I have used yet. Cleans most junk entries in the registry.

TweakNow - Registry cleaner.

System Applications

BackItUp - This is a small backup program. Simple interface.

Delpart - Delpart allows you delete any type of partition on your hard drive.

DirSize - Shows a overview of the folder/directory size.

Error Messages - Look up MS error messages and find out what they mean.

Faber Toys - View what DLLs are used by the current running processes.

FolderSizes - Gives a pictorial overview of the size that each folder takes up.

Handy Recovery - Data recovery software designed to restore files accidentally deleted from hard disks and floppy drives.

KillDisk - Use this program to ensure that your data (ex: sensitive/personal information) can NOT be recovered from the hard drive.

Magical Jelly Bean - Find your Windows and Office Serial Keys with ease using this program.

PageDefrag - Have the ability to defrag the page file and the registry.

PGP - Basic encryption capability for messages and files.

SpeedSwitchXP - A CPU frequency applet for Windows XP.

TuneXP - Tool that allows you to tweak your Windows installation more easily than ever before, and with tweaks that no other tool has.

WhoLockMe - We all had this problem before. We try to delete/rename/move a file and it says it can't be done because some process is using it. With this program, you can determine which program is using the file. You can then end the program if you want.

Win98SE Shutdown - Fix Windows 98 shutdown problems with this patch.

WinDrvExpert - This is a must have program. It backs up all your current drivers at ease.

ZipInstaller - Creates a uninstall file for almost any programs. Good for those programs that don't include one.

VirtualDub - Simple to use video editor. Have some powerful features (cut frames, etc.).

AIM - AOL Instant Messenger Program.

Avant Browser - Alternative fast web browser (tabs, popup killer, others).

ClickOff - Popup stopper, close windows with certain words, minimize/maximize windows, etc.

Email Stripper - Strip the >>> contents from your emails.

EndPopups - Popup blocker/stopper. When a popup is blocked the widget will turn red.

FileStructureToHTML - Creates a webpage that has links to all the files in a folder that you can choose - links to click on to view file.

FileZilla - Fast FTP client program with an easy to use user interface.

ePrompter - Check and send emails (most) with this small program. Simple to use. Only checks Inbox emails.

Mozilla - Web browser similar to Netscape, but more stable.

MSN Messenger - Microsoft Instant Messenger.

MyIE2 - Powerful browser with many built in features - popup killer, auto fill forms, etc.

Opera - Small and fast browser. Tabbed interface.

Roboform - Use this program to Autofill your online forms (Address, Telephone, Email, etc.) for you.

SlimBrowser - Tabbed Internet Browser (block popups, ads, disable images with ease, etc.).
